The Bible — a Guiding Light for Youth and Students
A significant part of Ukraine’s youth is at risk of becoming a “lost generation” due to social and economic hardships intensified by the pandemic and the war. This has led to a rise in addictions, juvenile crime, and cases of young people falling into labor or sexual exploitation. We seek to bring young people the biblical message that can help them find support and a right path in adult life.
A large share of young people in Ukraine is becoming a new “lost generation.” A combination of deep-rooted social and economic challenges, compounded by the pandemic and the full-scale war, has deprived many of proper upbringing and support.
As a result, various addictions and criminal offenses are affecting ever younger age groups. In addition, many young people become victims of human trafficking for the purposes of labor or sexual exploitation. We desire to share with them the biblical message that will serve as a guiding light as they step into adulthood.
