A Word of Hope for Families in Crisis

In Ukraine, multiple crises—long-standing socio-economic challenges, the pandemic, and the war—have had a particularly severe impact on families in crisis. Children, women, and older people are increasingly confronted with violence, deprivation, and hopelessness. Together with the churches, the Bible Society strives to bring such families a Word of hope to support them, offer comfort, and provide spiritual direction in difficult life circumstances.

The hardships that for decades have contributed to the growing number of families in crisis in Ukraine were first compounded by the pandemic and are now intensified by the war.

Children, women, and the elderly continue to face domestic violence, poverty, and despair.
The Bible Society, in cooperation with churches across Ukraine, seeks to continue bringing these people a Word of hope—one that helps them find encouragement, peace, and guidance for their lives.
